Effective date: 1st January 2020
This limited lifetime warranty (this “Lifetime Warranty”) is provided to end-user purchaser of a Pantum product which include printer models such as P2500, P2500W, P2506, P2506W, P3300DN, P3300DW, P3305DW, M6500N, M6500NW, M6506N, M6506NW, M6600NW, M7100DN, M7100DW, M7105DW, M7200FDN (“Product”) that Pantum Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“Pantum”) sells in Malaysia.
This Lifetime Warranty is valid only to the original purchaser (“you”) of the Product and is not assignable or transferable.
This Lifetime Warranty applies only to purchases from an authorized dealer of Pantum in Malaysia on or after the effective date identified above, and only covers genuine Pantum-branded products.
This Lifetime Warranty is only valid in Malaysia and is subject to the laws of Malaysia.
Pantum reserves the right to amend or modify the terms and conditions of this Lifetime Warranty without prior notice.
1. Warranty Period
If you have registered your Pantum products within 30 days after the original purchase and you are the first user we offer you, Lifetime Warranty. The Lifetime Warranty starts from the date you purchase the Product. Your original purchase invoice or sales receipt, showing the date of purchase and product description, is your proof of the date of purchase.
The Product has a Lifetime Warranty which covers normal use by the initial user or purchaser. Pantum hereby warrants only to the initial user or purchase that the Product will be free of any defect in materials and workmanship for the life of the product provided that the Product is properly used and maintained.
This Lifetime Warranty cease anytime when the Product is rented, sold or otherwise disposed of by you.
If the Lifetime Warranty is not applicable for you, Pantum still offer you a generous 12 months Warranty.
2. Warranty Claim Procedures
Your Product must be registered with Pantum before a Lifetime Warranty claim may be processed. Therefore, it is important to register your Product upon purchase of the Product.
2.1 How to register your Product with Pantum
You shall register your Product with Pantum within 30 days after the original purchase date. You may register your Product in the following two ways:
2.1.1) Register online at https://www.mypantum.com
2.1.2) Register with dealer using the Pantum Limited Lifetime Warranty Form upon purchase of the product. Please note that the Lifetime Warranty is registered only upon you receives Pantum’s confirmation SMS/e-mail that expressly i) states the Lifetime Warranty is successfully registered, and ii) reconfirms the Product’s model and serial number and your e-mail address. If you do not receive Pantum’s confirmation SMS/e-mail 30 working days upon registration, it means that your Lifetime Warranty is not registered; please contact Pantum’s Customer Service at 1-300-88-762 for further assistance.
2.2 How to Make a Warranty Claim

Pantum offers two types of Lifetime Warranty Services: “Carry-in Warranty” and “Onsite Pickup Warranty”.
2.2.1) Carry-in Warranty
Carry-in warranty services means repairing service for your Products by Pantum or Pantum’s authorized service centre’s technicians at a place designated by Pantum. You will be solely responsible for deliver and transport the Prodcut, including payment for the delivery charges for sending to and receiving the Product from Pantum’s
authorized service centre. The name and telephone number of Pantum’s authorized service centre near you may be obtained from https://www.mypantum.com or by calling our Customer Service at 1-300-88-762. You will need to include your proof of purchase with the warranted Product. Any damage caused during transportation by failing to package the Product correctly will not be covered by this Lifetime Warranty.
2.2.2) Onsite Pickup Warranty
Onsite pickup warranty means free pickup services for your Products by Pantum’s designated courier services at your designed place. To be eligible for Onsite Pickup Warranty service, you must be situated within a 35km radius from any of Pantum’s designated courier services office. Please contact our Customer Service at 1-300-88-762 to find out if you are within an area where the Onsite Pickup Warranty service is available. Extra mileage fee will be imposed to you if the location exceeds the 35km radius.

2.2.3) What Pantum will do
Once your Lifetime Warranty claim is received by Pantum, Pantum will investigate the cause of the problem, and if the fault with the Product is a consequence of the Manufacturer’ defect in materials or workmanship, Pantum, will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the Product.
Products presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished products of the same type, rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the Product. Replace of the Product or a part does not extend or restart the Lifetime Warranty period.
Repair of Products may result in loss of data. Pantum is not liable for any loss of data stored in the Products. If a Product presented for repair is capable of retaining user-generated data, you are advised that repair of the Product may result in loss of the data.
All component parts or hardware products removed under this Warranty become the property of Pantum unless otherwise stipulated by applicable local law.
In the unlikely event that your Product has recurring failures or Pantum determines it is unable to repair or replace the Product, Pantum, at its option, may elect to give you a refund or credit of your purchase price instead of a replacement.
Pantum or its authorized service centre, to the extent permitted by the local law, may seek reimbursement from you of any reasonable cost incurred by them if the Products are found to be in good working order or where the problem falls under any of the Lifetime Warranty exclusions and limitations. Reasonable cost may include transportation cost and parts and labour cost.
3. Lifetime Warranty Exclusions and Limitations
This Lifetime Warranty does not apply to maintenance kit (periodic or otherwise), drum, accessories and consumable item and does not extend to any Product from which the serial number has been removed. In addition, this Warranty does not cover any of the followings:
3.1. Abuse and/or tampering by any person other than the authorized personnel of Pantum;
- negligence and/or misuse (including foreign object, accident, improper storage, exposure to moisture, excessive temperature, sand, dust, dirt, other pollution or other environmental conditions and failure to follow precautions or proper operating instructions stated in the instruction manual such as improper installations);
- fire, flood, lightning strike or other acts of God; and
3.2. Defects, damages or accidents due to the malfunction, connection to or use of unauthorized parts (including re-conditioned, tampered, re-used or non-genuine Pantum accessories and/or consumable items not recommended by Pantum). In such event, Pantum reserves the right to cancel the Lifetime Warranty coverage immediately.
3.3. Consumable items, accessories and optional items, including panels, batteries, power cables, consumable items (toner/ink/ribbon cartridge, drum unit, maintenance kit), trays (paper, document, MP), belt unit, rubber parts, periodical parts – print head, ink absorber, fuser unit, laser unit, PF Kit, PF Kit MP, Document Scanner Unit 😉
3.4. Software Drivers, Utility Program and Application Software supplied with the Product. Non-Pantum products and software items and any other peripherals used in connection with the Product.
3.5. Product with its serial number removed, defaced or altered.
3.6. Any damages and failures arising from or due to external effects such as power supply (including fluctuations) and phone line.
3.7. Any malfunction, defects, or damage arising from shipping or storage of products.
3.8. Setup of products in a location exposed to direct sunlight, blocked ventilation slots, unstable surface, power extension cords or adaptors, insufficient space, extreme temperatures.
3.9. Any products that are not properly installed, maintained, stored or used.
PANTUM MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR CONDITION WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL AND, ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PANTUM EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS NOT STATED IN THIS WARRANTY.
